Vijay Deverakonda is soon making his debut in Bollywood with Hindi movie Liger, directed by South filmmaker Puri Jagannadh. The film is co-produced by Karan Johar.
Arjun Reddy star left the netizens in shock with his all new look in a recent poster of Liger where he has gone nude. All Devarakonda is seen holding, is a bunch of rose flowers in his hand. The poster reads ‘Saala crossbreed’. Sharing the new poster he captioned, “A film that took my everything. As a performance, mentally, physically my most challenging role. I give you everything! Coming soon. #Liger.”
The movie also features Ananya Panday in the female lead and is all set to release on 25th August, 2022 in theatres.
Karan Johar shared the same poster and captioned it- “Rose Rose aise gifts nahi milte…”
Vijay’s poster got mixed reactions from netizens. A user wrote “Pk”, another user wrote “And that poster took everything”. The movie is set to release in five languages including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil.
It portrays Devarakonda as a kickboxer who went from being ‘chai wala’ in Mumbai to becoming a professional boxer, competing in the US. He also went to Thailand to take lessons in martial arts. The movie also features Mike Tyson.
